Greetings!

I go by many handles, but for the time being I'll settle on aXL99. As for the "colour monkey" remark in the title, one of the guys at work dubbed me that name because I was always colouring something for everyone. Flash animations, model sheets, comic pages, sketches, yadda yadda....

Other than being a full-time animation student I did a little pro comic book colouring on the side. So far the only title I've ever coloured is a book called "Rotogin". It's about a girl who gets caught up in the whole underground Fight Club-esque-souped-up-mech-battling scene to save some friends from the triads and kingpins running the show. I just colour the book so I don't know all the written story-to-come details from my boss off hand . But I gotta hand it to all the other experienced colourists out there, they have it pretty rough. Eventually I hope to be as good and inspiring as they are.

Till then I'm doing the usual combination of surviving school and honing my colouring skills on the side. Nice to meet you all !
