Description

This is a character from the Gunduel story concept I'm workin on. I wanted to do the trademark "empty ammo clip" pose from John Woo movies but that didn't turn out the way I wanted so I left it as is :).

haha...his body is a bit on the action figure world, don't see anything wrong with that!

You've got the deltoids of someone with their arms down merging into a hybrid biceps / triceps muscle of someone with their arms up. The point of attachment of the deltoid in that pose would be hidden on the far side of the arm.

Nice work! Some more colours in the skin, like pink and red, would good. I miss that on his knuckles and other parts of his body that stands a bit out.
You have a particular style and I like it.

The anatomy looks pretty good, though the stomach muscles are a bit 'flat', if you get what I mean. It looks cool though. ;) However, I don't think you have placed the ribcase correctly.

I would guess they would be more like this (see the black line to the right):

Yet, it does look cool the way you painted the muscles, and I am aware that it might be part of the style.

The surroundings are nice, and I think you painted the water very well. Some more red colour tones on the skin might give it more life, but it's a good painting. ;)

Good work, I won't say anything about the anatomy, it's all been said :)

wow i am jealous jane whipped out the diagrams and everything....how do you follow that...the lugar has a clip but the 357 doesn't, so you picked some weird guns for "the trademark empty clip shot"...the head looks a little flat too, not to say your not upper tier with this piece, this is a good piece...

how did you get into colorist work? thats soooo cool.
