Description

This is another character from the Gunduel story concept I'm working on the side.

I based the overall composition on the shape of my own hand, putting most of the attention on the character's facial expression and body gesture.

I roughed out the basic colour scheme in Painter 7, but soon switched to Photoshop 7 because I wanted to try something different with some custom brushes I made.

The whole painting process has been relatively painful, but quite welcoming.
